Thank you for the feedback and re-direction. It's possible the issues I am experiencing may be due to user error (complete noob at utilizing scripts) so I thought it would be best to start from scratch today using your file as a template. Only change made is that I selected a CFX3 preset I utilize regularly. This file below should look exactly like the file you shared in the link and in the pictures. Also, I have set Half pedal on in CFX3 and RS level as instructed below and checked that it was side chained properly to pianoteq.

Half Pedal : 50% or 100% (on)
Half Pedal Range : 26 min / 96 max

And release :
RS level : -inf (done with the resonance of pianoteq on release)

The routing should be correct as shown in the files and images. Again, from C4 downwards, everything works as intended and the resonance is superb. However, all the keys prior to C4 don't work when the script is activated and I press the sustain pedal down. They sound muted. I am wondering if the script somehow disengages both the sustain pedal down samples and the actual samples for that key range. It's a puzzle for sure and I just want to rule out potential user error. Is there anyone on the forum with VSL CFX3 who has tried this script with Logic and had success?

This is an interesting read as I have the VSL CFX too. Would you mind to share if you got it to work with the CFX (I’m hopeless with scripting myself)?

You have to set Half pedal on for my script , don't know if on CFX you can set half pedal like the Steinway Defaut half pedal :

tell me, i can't acces to CFX menu, because i don't have CFX.

but i've checked your .logicx : other tracks that are not in my preset (strange...) and the Sidechain in Pianoteq doesn't work in your .logicx preset.... don't understand why your preset is corrupted in Logic.... the sidechain doesn"'t work.  you use LOGIC 11.0.1 ? : it's not the same than my original preset in bus and routing....(nothing to do with CFX or Steinway difference)

Yes, i understand. your new preset is now ok when i load my Steinway D274. even prior C4...

It's a strange issue with the VSL CFX. you use latest updated V973 VSL version ? MAC M1/2/3 or Intel ?

i use LOGIC 11 and MAC mini  ARM M2 pro 16gb and MAC SEQUIA BETA : all fine

Thank you for confirming the routing is correct. I agree it is odd only that part of the key range (A0 to B3) does not work with the script engaged for VSL CFX3. I use Mac Mini M1 and Logic 11. Literally just downloaded VSL CFX3 and Pianoteq a week ago so should be the latest version for the VIs (late to the party but enjoying learning and exploring the potentials with these instruments). I will trial Trackspacer in the interim to carve out room for the resonances from Pianoteq and VSL CFX3. You have been very helpful and I am grateful, Olivier! I still think the thought behind this is genius!

When VSL offer again CFX Demo period, i will check and make a preset / script for CFX. i still prefer the FULL Steinway D274 (Condenser + Ribbon close mics) with fixed velocirty curve and note volume i've done.

The VSL attack is more real than Pianoteq  all Steinway(s) :

This hybrid approach, using two distintive softwares, modelled by pianoteq and a hi-end sampler, is far more breathable and alive than Earth Piano, despite Earth Piano also use some sampler combined with modelled, as well as other softwares that uses samples plus modeling.

Someone, some youtuber, could create a video and challenge anyone to show a digital piano or software that alone results in  better sound than this hybrid dual.

The main pronlem is that you cannot change the sound by settings too much, as the samples cannot follow pianoteq flexibilit.
