I have the same issue using Steinbergs VST Live Pro App on a Mac Pro M1.

UPDATE:
I updated to the latest Cubase 8.5 Version (8.5.30) but the issue still exists: Pianoteq is not visible in instruments.

-Cubase 8.5.30 (64-bit)
-Mac Pro 5.1
-10.11.6

Does anyone have the same issue? I found two same cases in Steinberg's forum..

Hi there,
I just installed Pianoteq 8. The standalone version seems to work fine but I cannot find Pianoteq 8 in Plug-ins List in Cubase (it's not either in Synth folder). All the previous Pianoteq installations in the exact same setup were absolutely smooth [Versions 5, 6, and 7]

-Cubase 8.5.2 (64 bit)
-Mac Pro 5.1
-10.11.6
