Waiting for more.</p><br /><p>Well, we all have different taste about what is good and what sounds good, and we hear differently. And of course it depends on the piece of music which sound to use.</p><p>Here something to try, only a few things </p><br /><p>Move the condition slider, down above the keyboard, to the right, to 8 or 12 or something and listen</p><p>Change the velocity curve or try calibration…</p><p>Click on the pictutre to get” Tuning Voicing Design” and move Unison width a bit to the right….listen</p><p>Sometimes I myself like a bit more of Sympathetic resonance (Design)</p><p>Equalizer and Efffects change the sound</p><p>Don’t try too much in beginning, maybe better to try different pianos and presets…The more I did in beginning it sounded worse than the preset sometimes&nbsp; &nbsp;<i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i></p><p>Now after 10 years with Ptq I don’t chage so much anymore, but it is of course always nice to test and try a bit……….&nbsp; &nbsp;I’m a bit of an experimenter.</p><p>Best,</p><p>Stig</p><p>Pianoteqenthusiast, Organteqenthusiast, Harpteqenthusiast, Harpsichordteqenthusiast, CP-80teqenthusiast, experimenter and Graf/Grimalditeqenthusiast, Celesteteqenthusiast, Vibraphoneteqenthusiast, Erardteqenthusiast, Church Bellsteqenthusiast and Pianoteq 8 enthusiast</p></blockquote></div></blockquote></div><br /><br /><p>”Is there a guide on which sound to use for a particular piece of music?”</p><br /><p>Which sound to use - I don’t know about any guide. But in classical, jazz, traditional and popular music, accompaniment, I think it is again about personal taste what to use. People probably should go with what they like and enjoy. <br />Don&#039;t bind yourself too much to rules, but instead enjoy Pianoteq,&nbsp; I&#039;ve been doing it for 10 years now and the atmosphere is just as nice as the first time I played Ptq.
