All instruments also appear in Pianoteq 8. The instruments that are not purchased are in the demo section with the known restrictions.

I'd recommend an old clunker like that to any new piano student, it's a great way to learn (via necessity) alternate fingerings and slash chords.

I don't know.   I purchased the upgrade, but can't log into the user-area on the computer actually running Pianoteq 7.5.4 and it also says I'm running the latest version.

Upgrading Pianoteq is sometimes a hassle, and other times it isn't.

Running Linux on the machine running Pianoteq.

Contact support if you've lost your login details.

You have to log out and log back in in order to download 8 anyway. It's a bug. 

If you are logged out without your password you won't have to do that as you're already logged out. When you get your password sorted you'll be able to log back in and download it.

Maybe you have saved your password on another browser?

You can see the download file. You can see that 8 is registered to your account, but when you click on the download file it won't let you do so. The remedy it turns out is to logout and log back in.
