3 instruments?
I only have 2. Maybe now 3 are included, but I upgraded to v8 standard from v6 standard and I don't see any option to select a third instrument.
still, I'm happy with the upgrade

Modartt changed that at some point.
When buying standard you get to choose 3 instruments now. Pro comes with 4 instuments.
You only get to choose an instrument if you upgrade from Stage to standard or Standard to Pro.
You don't get an instrument when you just update the version even if you bought PTQ under the old terms.

Hi, sorry if this is already answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

I'm going to upgrade from 7 to 8, both Standard. Will I be allowed to re-choose which 3 instrument packs to include?

Pity. I only really needed a great piano, so the Steinways - German and US - were my obvious choice. Can't remember whether it was a requirement to choose 2 more...? But I did anyway and have never used the Harp or whatever the other piano is.

I *really* like the new guitar and would happily exchange it for the 2 instruments I never use.

Oh well, I didn't upgrade from 7.0.3 to 7.5.4 until today so I'm happy with the freebies I hadn't noticed (or weren't available?) before. Especially the CP-80 - it has a great rock sound as was often used by the Aussie band Cold Chisel. :-)
