There are some particular cases, but in general and in short, for all instruments being revoiced, we have re-recorded the demos that we recorded ourselves in the past, and Piet De Ridder has done the same on his side.

This first track was made with Piano K1. We've been on K2 I think since version 5. If Modartt were able to modify all of the tracks why would they leave up a K1 track?

Good point. I don't know then Maybe something to feedback to them, keeping the demos up-to-date.

I guess that the Pianoteq which enhances the sound with resonance should not have a MIDI input (or else it will add its own sound), then how this could work well with the pedal (which must change the way resonance are generated) ?

There's a few ways to do this.  My favourite so far is to give Pianoteq a MIDI input, but set the velocity curve to be zero (horizontal line at the bottom).  Then you can pedal, half pedal, or press keys to lift individual dampers as you please.

It’s very easy: load an instance of Pianoteq 8 and on another track load an instance of the instrument that you want to use for ‘triggering’ the sympathetic resonances in Pianoteq. In Pianoteq, select as Side Chain that second instrument.

I havn’t found this option « in Pianoteq ». I guess you have found it on a strip from the DAW (Logic) just above the Pianoteq window.

Depending of the DAW, the way to route one track to an other may vary. In Reaper, I did manage to link two Pianoteq with the route buttons, but I guess it would be simpler to have both VST on the same track (Reaper would then send the first VST output to the second VST input).

One question : does it works on the Stage version (I did menage to use it on the Demo/Standard version).

I have Studio and after installing the upgrade for 8.0 I also had to download Studio so that I had the upgraded models for everything.  Upgrading involves two downloads, but they would both be listed if you had upgraded properly.

Yup... some how I did that ... I have been upgrading since version 5  and never messed it up ... always something Ill try to figure out the up grade somehow.. I sent email to Modartt ..I am not worried as I know they will fix it ..mean while loving it!   And yes $29 would be nicer than the $201.75..ha...

Wow it is awesome!! Wish I could have kept all the pianos I have in 7  into 8...had them all

You SHOULD have them all!  If you don't, you may have accidentally purchased 8.0 as if it were new, rather than an upgrade.  Get in touch with support and they will straighten everything out for you. You are not the only one who had this happen.
