very cool sound.  i've not experimented much with the mono output but i can see its appeal.  it does give a very interesting vibe to the recording.

Notice how overall controlled or nicely 'contained' the piano seems.. not overly dimensionally across the whole space.. it's often really good to use mono piano in mixes with other instruments for this reason (no wide stereo image 'in the way' of making a refined mix).. but would depend on part/piece/piano/presets etc. like everything. It's possible also, to pan a mono part in a stereo recording.. anyway a little aside.
