The Herdmaiden's Sunday, is a song by Ole Bull, born in Bergen, Norway, with lyrics by Jørgen Moe. The play depicts a young peasant girl, who will stay on the mountain all summer. The piece is included as an adagio section in the violin rhapsody Et sæterbesøg. But, had to try it with Organteq too.
In my opinion this piece is indescribably exquisite.
