Do the other parameters interact the same way with the new tuning with a Scala file, or does a Scala tuning come in later, just altering the pitches as though one had transposed the midi data, while a manual tuning affects the contribution of string length, etc?

I'm almost sure that it has the same effect as manual detuning, but I want to be certain before creating some scala files.
