On my 2019 Macbook Pro, when I select "Macbook Pro speakers" or "external headphones" as output device, Pianoteq 7 often freezes. Once it has started freezing, it will freeze every time I try to make this selection until I reboot. After rebooting, sometimes I can make this selection for a short while before it starts freezing again. By freezing, I mean a spinning wheel and a message in Activity Monitor saying that the Pianoteq is not responding.By contrast, I can select either of these devices when I use Ableton Live, which means that I can can use Pianoteq as a plugin in Live so that the sound goes to one of those devices. However, this is often not what I want. I like just having the Pianoteq interface without all the distraction of live's interface behind it. How can I fix this problem?
