			<description><![CDATA[<p>FWIW, something like this will likely be the case with other DAWs as well. If you open the .MIDI file as a new project/song/session, it will take on the tempo of the file. But if you import the file into an existing project the exisitng tempo will pertain. Cakewalk by Bandlab works this way and does not offer the option to take on the tempo map from the MIDI file on import. I&#039;ll have to propose that as a new feature. ;^)</p>]]></description>
