I listened to all 3 Gymnopedies and to the Gnossiennes too. You play so beautifully and with a naturalness that I find most musical and appealing. I have to say I am totally blown away by you as an amazing pianist! Now I hear the difference - you the pianist - I’m the amateur&nbsp; <i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i></p><p>Some thoughts.<br />Although all the pianosounds are nice, I prefer the soft sound in Gymnopedie. <br />I like the tempo, some people play it too slow.<br />Well nuanced in some places and nice ritardando about 1.28 - 1.33 Gymno 1.<br />For some reason I like Gymno 2 more now. It’s your playing&nbsp; <i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i><br />And Gnossienne 2 is special - it’s like you are thinking before touching the keys, the piano is in your head. Beautifully played piece.</p><p>Nice music. Soothing, because I really have hectic days in my life now, and a sense of isolation, of being alone with a huge responsibility as a caregiver for my wife 24/7. But listening to your music and many others in the forum, when I have time, help me to relax. </p><p>Thank you so much Serge Smulders. But I put a lot of effort in it to understand the pieces, also listening to top concert pianists performing the pieces and trying to give some interpretation of my one. Maybe you can hear the effort. Well, it’s kind of modern ambient music, for relaxation, meditation….interesting that it&#039;s the pictures and not the music that gets you in that state of mind.
