			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Charpentier - Prelude&nbsp; &nbsp;Eurovision song contest theme song</p><p>The Prelude to Charpentier’s ‘Te Deum’ has opened Eurovision song contest for over sixty years.<br />In the late 1600s, French Baroque composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier (1643 - 1704) wrote his grand polyphonic motet Te Deum. And although he authored six settings, only four of them have survived.</p><p>Well, a monumental melody.
