I do like it and your liviness playing it.  It's funny that before I read the whole description, but just listened to it, I thought, "This sounds like the opening music of a 1970s or 1980s Neil Simon play."  Voila - almost exactly that!

For me when listening I made four sections in your playing:

1) Intro  2) 1,16-2,20  3) 2,20-3,27  4) 3,30-end    Section 2 is your first meandering around the theme (I Iliked it)  Section 3 your even more meandering, thought it was the best part, but, after listening again I have to say that I don’t need to split it up. It is best to listen to the whole piece and just enjoy your nice playing. Thank you budo!  You’re truly a gem—there’s nobody like you You are unique.

After this listening I got inspired and had myself to spend the day meandering around with Ptq

another real book tune, this time from the actual real book: I'm All Smiles.  this is an obscure tune from musical theater, from the show The Yearling, which completely flopped.  but Bill Evans somehow picked it up and that's why it's in the book.  (i think he may have covered it because Barbra Streisand recorded it, but i didn't check the dates to see if this makes any sense.)  even though the show flopped, this is a really fun tune to play.  the chord progression is very surprising and meanders all over the place.  definitely more piano players should look at it, i think!
