Well, it's just an interesting sound that you've created. Opens up many possibilities and I found myself experimenting with variations with the damper position, etc much of yesterday.

Thanks for taking my post in the right spirit.

Thanks for the feed back Jake, it's appreciated.

Think you are hearing it right. I'll have a good listen to it and see. I'm still not sure which slider will achieve this while keeping the sound generally unaffected. Feel free to amend the piano though.

In another post someone was trying to reduce the reverberation/resonance. I think adjusting the dampers reduce this without affecting the dynamic range of the piano.

There a lot to learn about piano tuning and how all these sliders in Pianoteq affect the sound. I think we need a 'Pianoteq for Dummies' manual.

I like the sound that you've created--an older grand with lots of vibrations in the bass. But for me, by default, the release on many notes was extremely brief with the pedal up. (On the NE page, I saw that you had reduced the dampered decay for many of the notes.) Am I the only one getting very, very abrupt cut-offs of the notes with the pedal up? Or is my system playing the instrument strangely?

Not complaining--I'm just not sure that I'm hearing what you posted correctly.
