Do you ever use the CP80? I don't think I've ever heard it in the Recordings section. There's another idea for you!

Well, dazric,you have probably missed it. Recording using CP-80 in Recordings. Here is one. And a new "demo" is coming later today In recordings  Thanks for the idea.

Quite a nice chorus effect, a bit like an 80s EP, I think. Do you ever use the CP80? I don't think I've ever heard it in the Recordings section. There's another idea for you!

I was going to say the same thing. Basically it sounds chorused.
Typically when you hear a CP80 it is chorused.
I like the CP80. Especially with plenty of FX.

I guessed that people might think so.Yes, a bit unison and mint slider used.
Maybe my idea was an old Bösendorfer or similar. It's Bluthner with output stereophonic and an old fxp that I have changed a bit, but when I started playing with this sound it felt soft and nice as a change. Using SilverVerb from Garageband. To my ears many colors in this sound, as a change to those exact tuned pianos.
An experiment again, can not stop experimenting

Yes, many thanks to Nathan for your insights. Psychology certainly does have a lot to do with playing the piano - quite often we are literally trying to achieve the impossible! I remember learning a Schubert sonata movement in which he actually writes a crescendo on a single held chord. I said to my teacher 'how on earth am I going to play that?', and he said something like 'well, just imagine the crescendo, think it through and you'll get the effect'. It's one of those things that's stayed with me.
