Hate the Equal Temperament, it is dull and lifeless.
I usually use Vallotti & Young Scale.
And, rather than A=440, I use A=432 instead.

I even tuned my acoustic Piano to A=432.... haha.
But I can't tune my acoustic piano to Vallotti's temperament, as there is a "ROOT change according to different keys " problem.

Dazirc, you are right, the problem: slightly unsettling at times.....
looking for ways to solve it.

Fascinating, and maybe a glimpse into the future of piano modelling???
What tuning did you use here? I know you're not a fan of strict Equal Temperament (I'm not, either), but I found this one slightly unsettling at times.

There is a deadly limitation for virtual piano.
There are only (at max)127 tone colors, and the tone colors are bound and fixed with the dynamic.
We have a brighter voice with a louder sound and a darker voice with a softer sound.
But, how about the darker voice with a louder sound? The brighter voice with a softer sound?
We just don't have it, theoretically can't have it. (Ok, technically, Pianoteq can do this.)
And I, lastly figure out, that I can use multiple pianos on multiple tracks to solve this.
For example, a soft note, I put it in Steinway B track. A strong note, I put it in Bluethner track,
a sweet note, I put it in Petrof 275 track. An open voice note, I put it in K2 Basic track, etc...
Yeah, a lot of work. And a lot of practice.....
Just like practicing the real piano, that needs time and patience.
It isn't easy, but it is worth the effort.

Love it! This is beautiful! This is the most unique way using Pianoteq I have heard. This is so good. And I like Debussy’s music (one of my favorites are Clair de lune)

I use 10 different pianos, so that I can have 10 different sets of tone colors and 10 different sets of characters to work on.
I played the complete piece, recorded in one single track, then break up the notes to different tracks accordingly.
Hope to see how you guys feel like the result.

The 10 Pianos are:
A Petrof 275, NY Steinway D, K2 Basic, Steinway B,
C Bechstein 282, Petrof 284 Mistral, Bluethner Model One,
Grotrain Royal, Steingraeber 272, HD Steinway D.
