First my, maybe, a bit strange analysis this time (we experience music so different, but I enjoyed this

The first minute I experienced as a wonderful search, what can happen, where does this lead? Then it starts to roll away and swell out, intriguing, carrying me slowly away. Gradually I experience a wonderful music flow. The last minute I’m slowly coming down to earth again, nice ending as always. Bravo budo!

I had to read about Karl Berger, and found out that he was playing vibraphone and improvising much, drawn to avant-garde jazz, free jazz, free improvisation!

WoW! Now I understand why there are so few notes on the sheet Improvisation!! You have some chords and do the rest yourself. That’s Berger!

And found out that ”Perfect love” has an under title - ”No one is possessed by another”. Well, meaning……?

Great playing as always. You deserve more views. You know, you have my respect and admiration for your fantastic way of playing. Thank you budo

this is another tune from the "back pages" of the real book. i had never heard of this tune or this artist, and just played from the lead sheet with no idea of what it was supposed to sound like. but just now, when i was putting this post together, i thought i should try to see if i could find out any more about Karl Berger. turns out he's a well known German jazz pianist and this was certainly a famous recording. i had no idea. i'm definitely going to be checking out more of his work ...
