I love those steady, gradual baroque chord progressions. I'm imagining this piece slower. (I know you're being faithful!) The theme in Silence of the Lambs when Clarise is talking to Buffalo Bill is a brilliant modern rendition of that style (I think).

What I learned playing this piece (was wondering about larghetto): Many of the music terms end with -issimo or -etto. -issimo means ”extremely” and -etto meaning a ”lesser version” of. For example this piece have larghetto meaning less slow ( or faster) than largo.

If we have largo larghetto adagio - larghetto is slower than adagio but not as slow as largo…..
