EvilDragon wrote: "On the exact half Unison detune is 2.00."

Ah...yes, you're right--I was looking at a preset in which I had raised the overall Unison width a little.

I think I like it--the wider scaling close to the default allows more control over small increments? Thanks for the "press Shift" thing. Allows smaller steps.

But my mistake leads to the discovery (for me...) that the NE pane shows a numeric setting that is relative to the setting of the slider on the main interface. Something to be careful about: If the main slider is set to a new value (such as in a user preset), the numeric reading for settings in some NE panes seems to reflect the degree of variation from the new slider position, not from the default value for the instrument?

On the exact half Unison detune is 2.00. Up to there the curve is linear, after that it's more or less exponential. I also noticed that holding Shift in the upper half has less fine-tuned steps.

Don't know what to think of it.

By which I mean that raising or lowering one of the yellow bars in some of the Note edit panes (in the Pro version) has a greatly increased effect as you approach the top or bottom of the Note edit pane: for example, in the Unison width Note edit pane, moving a yellow bar about halfway to the top will change the setting to 1.5. Moving it all the way to the top (twice the distance) creates a setting of 20.

Just wanted to announce that I was slow to see this. What it really means, for me, is that fairly large changes in the yellow bars often have a significant effect, but do not involve making large, illogical changes in the physical instrument.
