I could see how some users could be confused by this at first, but I adapted to it pretty quickly -- not every slider changes values in a truly _linear_ fashion, but I've never been much of a fan of sliders (or knobs, or wheels, etc.) anyway.  ;^)

Ah...yes, you're right--I was looking at a preset in which I had raised the overall Unison width a little.

I think I like it--the wider scaling close to the default allows more control over small increments? Thanks for the "press Shift" thing. Allows smaller steps.

But my mistake leads to the discovery (for me...) that the NE pane shows a numeric setting that is relative to the setting of the slider on the main interface. Something to be careful about: If the main slider is set to a new value (such as in a user preset), the numeric reading for settings in some NE panes seems to reflect the degree of variation from the new slider position, not from the default value for the instrument?

Just wanted to announce that I was slow to see this. What it really means, for me, is that fairly large changes in the yellow bars often have a significant effect, but do not involve making large, illogical changes in the physical  instrument.
