			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I don&#039;t understand this topic. Is my understanding here correct?:</p><p><strong>If the level meter is in the green zone, then everything is good. Nothing to see here and nothing to worry about. </strong></p><p><strong>If the level meter is RED, this is bad. Then you can worry about limiters and LUFSes and such.</strong></p><p>Also, if I export the audio on Pianoteq using the &quot;high quality settings&quot; option, is all of this taken care of for me?</p><p>Is there something more to this or am I missing something?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The limiter is OK as a &#039;safety valve&#039; for live playing, but quite a while ago I learned that it&#039;s better to turn it off for recording and set the output fairly low (I always go to -12dB). I experimented with less aggressive settings for the limiter, but it always seems to add a certain amount of distortion whatever you do with it.<br />BTW, the Youlean Loudness Meter (as mentioned by Olivier) is a brilliant tool for understanding what&#039;s going on with your loudness levels - highly recommended.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi,</p><p>It&#039;s me or snake oil ? I don&#039;t like the limiter with threshold at - 12 dB and with no big headroom in most of default presets.</p><p>( I prefer to modify the default volume 0dB to - 9 dB and set the threshold at - 3 dB for most existing presets)</p><p><i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i></p><p>Sure most people doesn&#039;t like Pianoteq at FF/FFF because of this limiter...</p><p>I think i get a more natural sound in Pianoteq (And i love the sound of the Steinway B of 7.5.2) , when i just avoid the in built limiter, and set preset at - 16 LUFS :</p><p>here a Steinway B .fxp&nbsp; at - 16 LUFS (Integrated) with PPP to FFF in same track or live playing (measured with youlean free meter at the main output with a virtual audio cabble)</p><p><a href="https://forum.modartt.com/file/61sj8dxv">https://forum.modartt.com/file/61sj8dxv</a></p><p>Regards,</p><p>Olivier F.</p><p><a href="https://youlean.co/youlean-loudness-meter/">https://youlean.co/youlean-loudness-meter/</a></p>]]></content>
