Thanks for your comments, Stig:

Earlier I had posted a comparison of the major grand pianos using 7.4x presets with Chopin's 10th prelude. It would be easy for me to add a second comparison using the same pianos but with 7.52. presets. It might be worth trying!

Cheers!

Dave

For me it is difficult to hear any special difference between the versions as the pieces of music are so different. A comparison would be easy if you could hear both versions with the same piece, for example Impromtu 2 (my favourite of these 4). But as I said in the other forum, I can hear a differens, 7.5 is more natural, good.

It is good to hear such clear differences between forte and piano/ crescendo - diminuendo in the music. I myself have a bad keyboard and can make very small differences.
Thank you, Dave, for sharing! Interesting music. I’m trying morphing too.
Waiting for next

Best wishes,

Stig

These 4 Impromptus were made using a morphed piano (2 Steingraeber presets and 1 Beckstein preset). The first 3 Impromptus were made using the presets in Pianoteq 7.4x. Given the timing of the 7.52 update, only the 4th Impromptu used the presets from the 7.52 update. Do you hear any differences between the 7.4x and 7.52 versions? Here's the link:

https://youtu.be/ZQ_GyjmmgxI
