You might try to use a MIDI monitor for your operating system to check if the very-low-velocity issue for the D is evident outside of Pianoteq and its embedded MIDI monitor. You might check if it&#039;s evident on all 16 MIDI channels, and on each MIDI-throughput or MIDI-output device (MIDI through your audio interface and/or MIDI directly from your Kawai keyboard to the computer).</p>]]></content>

It&#039;s a common technic in sampling.<br />And that these 2 midi signals trigger in fact the same sample...<br />Anyway, strange...</p>]]></content>

(You didn&#039;t mention exactly how you connect and route the MIDI data.)</p><p>Anyway, if no one else notices the issue, then it seems it is with your specific audio/MIDI/computer setup.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>In Logic pro 10.7.2 I created a single track set to use PianoTeq 7. In that track, I created MIDI region and added the notes B flat 3 and D4 in measure 1 beat 1.</p><p>When I play it I hear both notes loud and clear at equal volume.</p><p>Hope this helps.</p>]]></content>

This problem is with all instruments i got.</p></blockquote></div><p>No problem here, with my setup.<br />Are you using a demo version of Pianoteq (not purchased, and not registered)?<br />In Pianoteq--&gt;Options--&gt;MIDI, can you see note-on and note-off events when you play the Bb3 and D4?<br />What other VSTs do you use, and in which DAW app(s).<br />How is your MIDI routed from your keyboard to your computer?<br />Which operating system do you use?<br />Etc.</p>]]></content>

It&#039;s likely your midi controller, check the midi tab under the options menu while you play to see if that&#039;s the case.</p>]]></content>
