I think that the notes of the high register have less impact than those of the low register. The low register sounds great and very close to a real piano. I think the high notes register would need a greater impact. I have a Yamaha U3 and when I play these notes they have a greater impact than Pianoteq 7 YC5 for example. The sound of hammers is much more heard. I worked for a few years tuning and rebuilding pianos. For everything else I am very happy with the sound and response of Pianoteq. Sorry my bad english.

As nice as a simple keytrack crossfade between two instrument presets would be (added to the morph / layer panel, for example), you can--

Simply adjust various parameters that affect and alter the sound in Note Edit (not just volume), and make them more or less prominent or accentuated in the treble or bass range. Or, use the main (pre-effects) Equalizer to affect treble, bass, midrange or specific smaller ranges of frequencies.

Or, create two layers of the same instrument preset or two dissimilar presets, using the Layers panel of the "Morph / Layers" function, and edit each layer to adjust any particular setting or settings (such as those listed in Note Edit) so that the desired sound modifications are more prominent in the bass range for one of the layers, and in the treble range for the other.

In other words, you would be creating your own perhaps more complex crossfade between two or more layers.
