They are much appreciated. And a special thank you for liking the Organteq sound. I have worked hard to bring out the rich wide sound And still working on it.

Best,

Stig

Marziale (Frender Mann)

Robert Schumann (8 June 1810 – 29 July 1856) was widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of the Romantic era. Schumann left the study of law, intending to pursue a career as a virtuoso pianist. He had been assured by his teacher Friedrich Wieck that he could become the finest pianist in Europe, but a hand injury ended this dream. Schumann then focused his musical energies on composing. In 1840, Schumann married Friedrich Wieck's daughter Clara, against the wishes of her father, following a long and acrimonious legal battle, which found in favor of Clara and Robert. Schumann suffered from a lifelong mental disorder, first manifesting itself in 1833 as a severe melancholic depressive episode. After a suicide attempt in 1854, Schumann was admitted to a mental asylum, at his own request, in Endenich near Bonn. Diagnosed with "psychotic melancholia", Schumann died two years later in 1856 without having recovered from his mental illness.

This Marziale, called Fremder Mann, is taken from Schumann's "Album für die Jugend, Op.68 No 29”, which was composed in 1848 and published in 1849.

The fine transcription was done by the English organist, William T. Best (1826-1897). Best was the leading concert organist of his day, and was said to have been proclaimed the "greatest of all virtuosos" by none other than Franz Liszt, which would probably suffice for a recommendation.

Some people play this very fast and the sheet says tempo 144. I’m playing a bit slower.

Marziale is an Italian word that means "martial" and as a musical directive indicates to the musician to play in a military-like style, usually a march.

Enjoy,

Stig

https://forum.modartt.com/uploads.php?f...rziale.mp3

Swing low, sweet chariot, My own intro and arrangement, chords.

New sounds, new harmonies, new chords - the wonderful Organteq. Love it!

Special Orgtq sound and soloist is Planet T Soft Pan Tremolo.
I try to get a Leslie effect in Orgtq (Leslie is specifically designed to alter or modify sound. As the sound source is rotated around a specific pivot point, it produces tremolo and a variation in pitch. I know that there's no substitute for the real thing. But I tried in different ways to get the movement of the horn to and away from the listener that creates a sort of vibrato effect. But it is so little of it so far, but working on it. Listen to the last chord! Have 3 different shapes on tremulant on 3 different tracks and pan left and right on 2 tracks and… and…
Enjoy,

Stig

https://forum.modartt.com/uploads.php?f...iot%20.mp3
