thank you so much for your kind words, i really appreciate it, although respectfully i may have to disagree with the comment about Tatum   after all he is one of the Olympians. certainly i wouldn't have wanted to face him in a cutting contest.  i hadn't listened to his recording for a long time until i looked it up on YT last week.  it's mind-boggling.

regarding the preset, it is a slightly modified NY Steinway D Jazz.  i just did the usual things (velocity curve, condition slider).  the most substantial difference is i used an impulse reverb and increased it a bit since i found the original rather dry.

thank you, i really appreciate it.  i was kind of taking the bass line from a mix of Art Blakey's version and Un Poco Loco by Bud Powell.  at least, somehow i think that's what i was doing

Hello budo! You say played by many many people, yes, of course - BUT, no one play it like you. Your performance with parts with wild speed and some tempo changes slow…. it’s so colourful, expressive, creative, innovative….
I explain: from 1,44 it began to go,   from 2,08 goes a bit more, from 2,42 to 3,23 it’s wild (I love that part!), and from 3,23 - 3.41 it’s amazing, brilliant playing. Then a slow part and 4,30 - 4,50 the wildest best part, really excellent. It is the most intense, exciting, important part: the culmination, climax in your playing, before the ending.
I could immerse myself in the music, I completely involved myself in it.
