Yes, Modartt said that there is possibility with some DAWs that they won't recognize if you have older Pianoteq and the new version. Best is to remove 3.0.5.

ProTools can't find 3.5 if the 3.05 plug is not removed from the plugin map.
Another thing (maybe not so important but a bit inconvenient) is that Pianoteq can only be played on midi channel 1.
