			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<div class="quotebox"><cite>budo wrote:</cite><blockquote><p>wow that&#039;s awesome!&nbsp; there&#039;s a lot going on in there, it must have taken hours to put it together.&nbsp; looking forward to the finished product!</p></blockquote></div><p>Thanks for taking the time to check it out, budo!&nbsp; </p><p>Yes, it&#039;s a lot of time and effort...but much fun at that!&nbsp; The arrangement is written for 8 trumpets. 2 mellophones (a marching band French Horn), and 4 flugelhorns.&nbsp; I adapted the full original MIDI score, and I tried to include numerous antiphonal (side-to-side) effects, as the parts are written to be played via either the left or right channel.&nbsp; (I need to tweak the panning in the recording to make the antiphonal stuff more apparent!&nbsp; I wrote the arrangement back in November/December over the course of ~8-10 hours.</p><p>The recording is spliced together from over 1200 takes (so far!).&nbsp; I tend to mess up a lot!&nbsp; Let&#039;s just say the recording process has been a long one as well!</p><p>And then, because the recordings are still not as good as I want them to be, nearly as much time goes into editing the recordings as it takes to record them in the first place.</p><p>So yes, it&#039;s a long process.&nbsp; But, to me, certainly worth it in the end!</p><p>&lt;Note: I recently had a computer issue, and my fingers are now crossed that the original DAW (digital audio workstation) file loads properly....or finishing the recording will be much more difficult!&gt;</p>]]></content>

Interested first in the one with trumpet and Organteq because I have experimented with other instruments together with Orgtq too. And when I was young, 18, I played the trumpet and 3 years baritone with a youth orchestra, we made a small record, Hooteanny ( and the orchestra, 62 years old, still exists with 175 members!) I like trumpet music and it&#039;s not often one can hear it nowdays. Thank you for sharing your talent.
