another great tribute! this composition is a lot of fun. i really liked the chord progression. the second 16 takes an unexpected turn that works really well. and the overall arrangement is very tasteful!

When you play duetto with those saxophones is nice and then the flute…. You made a melody that repeats in the mind against the will, compulsively, and that is now hard to stop thinking (for me). I’m feeling my age more and more, forgetting things..…but it does not bother me. I’m probably old because I’m thinkning now (and I didn’t when young) that, if we remembered everyday that we could lose someone at any moment, we would love them more and do things differently. And I try to keep my brain fit and alert by playing every day, reading, writing……and doing my job as a care taker
