Morphing the piano models gets rid of your concerns with the stacked combinations technique. Instead of relying on masking and reinforcement  of frequencies you are hearing an actual hybrid model.  A new piano.
You can even tune the new physical model while you are playing back a piano MIDI file.

Also being able to truly control the microphone positions is a game changer.

and can't believe I waited so long~


Im having some pretty good luck with stacking Pianos (Steinway D, Petrof ,Steingraeber, all great) and I find a subtle amount of the historcal pianos  mixed in or visa versa can add so much of an organic feel....

Aside from any possible phasing Issues That Im not hearing at the moment, ay other thoughts on this? Also ,

I'm guessing the standard version can do this?


wondering if I should just upgrade to that!
