That's very nice of you, I do appreciate it.

After going through all the main methods, back when I taught full time, I was frustrated to find they suffered from what I considered at least one glaring problem: either not great methodology, bland music, or "silly" music without much substance (more of a modern problem). I primarily settled on a little known method that was pretty good overall, but which was relatively short with a lot of gaps. So as a composer I found myself writing a lot of little pieces to fill those gaps. A Dream (above) was one of the first, and over the years I wrote another 200 or so. I've always taught at least basic composition/improvisation to piano students, so the creative aspect of the method was really important.

And yeah, I think garden gnomes could work!

Thanks again Stig.

I'm always impressed. You are a great pianist. And many nice names on your music pieces (I looked at all 49). I like the name Gnomes, and the music - it can mean many things but I was thinking of garden gnomes supposed to represent good luck.

What a wonderful piano method serie - so different, this is creatve productivity. I think it’s not based on what is generally done. I can say this because I didn’t like the method serie I had to use as 9 year old. I wish I had your serie. You really make the ”method” come out. I had not, so I stopped playing as 12 year old. Now self-thaught pianoteqenthusiast
I’m waiting for your next 6 recordings. Thank you!

Best wishes,

Stig
