			<description><![CDATA[<p>I was reading/listening to this thread again and saw Smilie’s question - ”What can you come up with ???”</p><p>I’m using Erard Player.&nbsp; I wanted a sound that’s a bit closer, a bit fuller, a bit ”wider”. And this, what I came up wit, sounds good in my headphones. </p><p>I changed:<br />impedance 1,20&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;string length 2,00&nbsp; &nbsp;sympathetic resonance 1,30 (”unfortunately” it is something that I generally think I always want more and more of ....&nbsp; &nbsp;<i class="far fa-smile smiley"></i>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;mint 0,10&nbsp; &nbsp;reverb medium hall&nbsp; &nbsp;stereo width 1,13&nbsp; &nbsp;compensation off</p><p>And Smilie’s other question - does it sound good? The separate reverbs and microphone placements are there to be used on any instrument. 			<description><![CDATA[<p>I found the fragmented FXPs interesting and useful, but noted that I had to use them with some care, as loading the &#039;base instrument&#039; after the microphones then overwrites the microphones (and the reverb, I believe).&nbsp; Also, I made sure that the microphones were save as a microphone preset, so that I could use them on other instruments.&nbsp; Interesting how you backed the treble mic away from the piano, rather than just lowering its volume.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I think it would be better to upload the fxp with the &#039;Erard Stereo&#039; mic setting applied, as some users may be unaware of it if they don&#039;t see your forum post. You could add a note saying something like &#039;try your own reverb, or one of mine from Shared files&#039;.<br />Regarding my &#039;best of fxp corner&#039; idea, I&#039;ve sort of found the answer to my own question. It&#039;s in the Extended Search feature, which I have to admit I haven&#039;t really used before - it&#039;s great!</p>]]></description>

But, as Modartt says in the Welcome to fxp corner for customized presets: <br />”They are created and uploaded by actual users”. So, the forum is for us users. I think it&#039;s good as it is. OTOH it might discourage any further investigation in the FXB section if you&#039;ve heard what&#039;s regarded by Modartt as &quot;the best of&quot; already.</p><p>We wouldn&#039;t want Modartt being accused of forum member favouritism either!<br />Flip side of the coin people could be offended if their presets aren&#039;t represented. </p><p>I put a simple blend of the Errard and the Pleyel in the FXB section some months back. The OP might like that.</p>]]></description>
