Bose S1 Pro vs JBL EON One Compact -

You can’t go wrong with either one, they’re both very good.

I’m a Bose fan, but I’ve used both on-stage and prefer the JBL for live performance. Aside from the lower bass response, it’s got a tighter more even sound that serves the mix better (vocals/guitar/drums). For me the Bose is a bit better for pre-recorded DJ style music.

But honestly, they’re very close and I’d be happy with the Bose in a live situation, just might have to tweak vocals in a different way.

Hello everyone!  I have been trying to put together a live rig for Pianoteq, and am trying to decide between a Bose S1 Pro and a JBL EON One Compact for my main speaker.  I'll be doing mainly solo stuff at small venues for now.  Any help is appreciated!

I would go with the Eon just for the better low end frequency response. They both look like great products otherwise.
