@Smilie, re your query on copying mics. Yes, it is quite easy to do, if a bit fiddly. Open 2 presets A and B, lets say your 2 settings 'far' as A and 'close' as B. Now open the mics window. Right click on the mic you want to copy from A (we'll use mic 1), select Copy. Now go to preset B and activate mic 3, then right click on that mic and paste the position you copied from A onto it. You may need to adjust the mic level and mic type. Note that this doesn't work with linked mics, you have to unlink them before you can copy and paste. As I say, there are endless possibilities. For instance, you can import some distant mics from another preset to add to a close mic setting. Have fun!

They certainly are many and varied. You spoke of copying microphones over to other slots - haven't looked into that yet. Is it easy to do?

Just downloaded these settings, very much looking forward to trying them out. Definitely agree with the thoughts of other posters here. I have a feeling they might also sound good if blended together (i.e., copy & paste the mic positions from 'far' onto mics 3 & 4 of 'close', adjust levels to taste). With Pianoteq, the possibilities are endless!

Lovely sounds. Very realistic, with great clarity. You’ve opened a new door, here, even if only by experimenting with the mics. I think the fxp with mics at the end of piano will be great for accompanying a singer or for a singer-songwriter solo performance. And for recordings like the ones you’ve made.

Absolutely - that mic array seemed in a lovely sweet spot - I do love the FXP Corner - one of the best things about Pianoteq is being able to share and the more the merrier
