I visited at your profile and saw that you're using a Yamaha silent system. Try to switch midi dialect to Disklavier XP in the midi settings (the same place as you'll find the midi messages). I had the same problem with my Yamaha Avantgrand N1 but when I switched to the Disklavier XP dialect it worked just fine as it has another standard for midi messages. The Disklavier XP also suports other funktions that standard midi doesn't like "damper position".Ah, thank you very much!

The MIDI output from my Yamaha SG2 unit goes into the MIDI input in a RME Firceface UCX, and this one is connceted via USB to my laptop.
I'm not aware there are any MIDI settings possible for the Fireface UXC and I also had a look in the PTQ options and
unfortunately found nothing that would match...

Just tried a "silent key press" to just release the dampers
and get the resonances from the natural tones, when playing these notes above.
but that seems not to be possible? Any more?? I use the latest PTQ version.
I thought I remember it once worked, but I'm not sure.
I get the resonances when I play a note in pppp or so,
but not when I silently press a key. This seems not to be recognized as a key press
by the midi interface? Or is it just my old Yamaha SG2 interface?

I had the same problem with my Yamaha Avantgrand N1 but when I switched to the Disklavier XP dialect it worked just fine as it has another standard for midi messages. The Disklavier XP also suports other functions that standard midi doesn't like different values of the damper position I mentioned above.
