FRANCE GALL, oui!  We played a cover of "Ella, elle l'a" as house band for a Christmas party at my old science lab job. Good memories. And playing keyboards standing (specially while working the pedal)  is very bad for the back!

In the majority of the presets the binaural position is the position of the player, with however a very high height for a player of an average size ( height of the ears to 1m50 of the ground seems to me too high ). In some presets the binaural position is to the right of the piano (also at a very high height for a standing listener, 2 meters ). Conclusion, the employees of modartt are probably very tall men

That 44" for eye height would be a more relaxed (lower) theatre seat position, so maybe take that to around 48" seated bolt upright at a piano stool?

You can move the virtual head model where you like in Standard and Pro. It starts out as player's perspective.

The binaural perspective is always the players perspective in Pianoteq.
A binaural perspective could always be from an audience perspective of course (binaural simply meaning the recording most closely resembling the perspective of the human ear), but in this case it starts out as a variant of the player's perspective, so that's what you will always get in Stage.

In the "Stage" version there are no settings to adjust the mic positioning and similar parameters of the "recording modes".

Does anybody know where the Stage version puts the listener in the "Binaural" recording mode? I guess it is in the position of the player, but I can't see any confirmation in the manual.

Binaural is literally the microphone perspective of the human head.
