For me the purpose of a full screen rectangular interface would be to display more informations or settings, or why not the image of the piano being used. On the contrary the compact rectangular interface has less information than the standard one and is not very interesting.

I personally like the fact that the main Pianoteq window does not occupy a lot of or most of the screen, so that there is extra space for various detached windows such as the Presets list, Effects, Equalizer, Note Edit, etc.

They call it magnification but it's not really. It should be called GUI scaling.
  At 100% the very low pixel count makes the GUI crude looking and blocky by modern standards, fine for a low end laptop I suppose.  Literally magnifiying that just shows you how blocky the image is.

Lots of small monitors and regular TVs are 1080p so the 175% fits that nicely.
at 1440p vertical 200% is optimal using greater pixel count for sharper image.

Obviously with the 4K displays you will want at least 200% today too and 250% most of the time.

Is it possible to somehow indicate the "level" of magnification which is currently set in the menu?
For example with a leading dot?

I plug different monitors with different resolutions in my laptop and i always forget the current setting,
so i need several tries to get the right size again. Yes, i could use + and - but i'm a mouse-guy.
