"In Octatonic Mode (for Piano)" by Hugues Bedouelle is entirely written in the maximally even octatonic scale (0,2,3,5,6,8,9,11), which corresponds to Olivier Messiaen's second mode of limited transposition. The score comprises two equal parts; the second part is a tritone transposition of the first part, within the same scale and with some variations. The harmonic progression is circular. The score was interpreted with the K2 Grand Piano of Pianoteq in Studio Recording BA mode. The recording is available at:
https://soundcloud.com/hugues-bedouelle/93hb6
