Ensure to keep subscribing to our newsletter to not miss out anything.</p></blockquote></div><p>Cheers</p></blockquote></div><p>I&#039;ve been running Pianoteq natively on Linux for many years now.&nbsp; I have moved my sheet music to an Android Tablet.&nbsp; &nbsp;I tried an iPad previously for a few days before I bought a Samsung S5e.&nbsp; &nbsp;The iPad had a lot of negatives.&nbsp; &nbsp;It&#039;s entirely incompatible with Linux when it comes to file transfer, and in fact the iPad at that time did not even have a file manager.&nbsp; &nbsp;That issue may have been corrected.&nbsp; I would buy an iPad Pro with the M1 chip if Pianoteq ran natively on it.&nbsp; I would like to be able to run Pianoteq on the same device that displays my sheet music.&nbsp; &nbsp;If an Android tablet could do it, that would be great.&nbsp; &nbsp;From what I hear the M1 runs circles around everything else.&nbsp; &nbsp;Is it possible to run Pianoteq on an Android tablet?&nbsp; &nbsp;If not, I guess we are stuck with Apple.&nbsp; &nbsp;That said, this guy just bought a bunch of new Apple products and loves them:</p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWuWoeg7oVM">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWuWoeg7oVM</a></p>]]></content>

Anyway I don&#039;t believe it would be easy. <br />BTW, sadly, Sony has dropped its linux support, it was a very interesting project.</p>]]></content>

It could actually be possible *NOW* to run PTQ on Android. You have to root your device (yes, Google too has learned from Steve, even though they are less aggressive in that regard), and obviously depending on the hw capability of your phone/tablet it may be a good or bad experience. Note that these apps run Linux *natively* on the device, not in an emulation mode, and as such there should be no overhead. The many versions of Android on hundreds of different devices doesn&#039;t help either.</p><p>Also audio tooling on ios is light years ahead of Android. In terms of plug-ins, DAWs, standards such as AUv3 etc etc</p>]]></content>
