The ideal would be a triple-pedal with an usb connection that would be connected directly to the computer and would work like a midi controller. Unfortunately, I haven't found one. Have you ?

Bad for you, as p45 only seems to have a sustain pedal jack

If you're still in the return window, maybe send back the p45 for a dgx660? I recently added the LP-7A triple pedal to mine, and pianoteq recognizes them well. LP-7A also has half pedaling on sustain.

An audio interface's audio line inputs would not be appropriate for switched or expression pedals.

One option will be the AudioFront Midi Expression Quattro. Not cheap, but has 4 auto-sensing inputs and fully configurable software.

In my case, I've MIDI'd my piano controller into an older synth (Kurzweil K2000) which has an expression input jack as well as 2 switched input jacks. This allows me to use the exp input with a Yamaha FC3A sustain pedal (for half pedaling), while my old on/off sustain pedal plugs into a switched input for soft/una corda. If I were to add a 3rd pedal (or buy a 3-pedal unit to be less cluttered) it can plug into the switched jack #2.

All of which to say, if you have an old keyboard laying around with comprehensive midi and jack implementation, this can be used as well.

I have recently bought a yamaha p45. I'm under the impression that it supports half pedalling but a triple pedal wont be supported as the board only has sustain built in. Now the question is if I using the board with pianoteq or other vsts will a triple pedal be fully functional in the software as it will still need to be routed through the board? On the other hand if that's not possible, with the pedal connection being a guitar type jack, would I be able to plug the pedals directly into my audio interface/sound card? I won a lot of money after finding good casino Cruise bonus codes on the casinobonus-ca.com/casino-cruise-bonus and think about buy a good pedal. Any help & suggestions would be appreciated. I initially wanted a vpc but can't seem to find one used & I'm otherwise really enjoying the p45 though learning mainly classical I feel not learning proper pedalling may harm my playing in the future.
