This Book is similar to Paul Hindemith's Ludus Tonalis in its concept. There is tonality in spite of the fact that there are a lot of dissonances. You can think of it as a completely free C major that doesn't need to resolve the dissonanses at all and does't have to explain every note in the piece. On the 00:20 in my Vid there is a culmination that is expressed with polytonality, the left hand plays a sequence in D flat Major while the right hand tries to interrupt the left hand playing in C major
