Yes, pianoteq is a wonderfull software, certainly the better software I never used in my life...
Perhaps one of the greatest invention since invention of printing ( I'm exaggerating just a little bit...).
And on this forum the daily help of Philippe Guillaume himself... imagine Gutenberg helping you when you have a problem of printer...

I' m sixty, I always had the irrealistic dream of a grand piano in my house, thanks to pianoteq I have several and my living room is full... And I really enjoy playing on them everyday...

Sorry for my poor english so... Vive pianoteq et ses concepteurs...

I just upgraded to version 7 and I am *very* pleased with the sound of the NY Steinway. Beautiful warm sound and rich sustain!

This is definitely a step up. I used to love the YC5 except for an unpleasant metallic harmonic that I probably could have gotten rid of if I knew how to tweak Standard better. Anyway, this model sounds better, and everything I've tried sounds better. The price of the upgrade is very reasonable.
Also, the little bit of morphing I've done combining piano models, is really cool. I wish I could freeze time and spend months on end playing with this rainbow of keyboard sounds.

I thought it couldn't get any better than the Bechstein D282, but the overall closeness to
sample-libraries is absolutely uncanny for every single note! Bass notes in particular are pristine, no artificiality present even in the
lowest notes The rest of the notes, from the midrange to the treble, also sound totally natural; hammer attack is perfect as well!
There is absolutely no trace of the telltale 'Pianoteq' signature that would instantly give it away; even for me, if you gave me a recording
from this new Steinway model, it wouldn't sound out of place!

I predicted by version 7 that Pianoteq would reach parity with sample libraries; sounds like this newest Steinway has done exactly that!
