I’ve had the Pianoteq Stage for a couple years now and only recently found this forum. It’s great to hear what others are creating with Pianoteq. I was impressed with all the pianos included, the historical instruments, etc.. I’ve also enjoyed listening to everyone’s postings to hear how they’ve been using it. The expressivity across the range of piano tones convinced me right away that modeling was superior to sampling.
I was inspired by the sound of the Steinway D to finish a suite where I could try to make use of the large dynamic range; from "pounding to tinkly". But I’m still learning; it’s a first effort. I didn’t tweak the settings too much. The suite is named for eight stars in the constellation Octans. I am using Digital Performer for editing and recording.
Thanks again for the interesting musical examples posted by everyone.

https://soundcloud.com/walbertus/sets/o...-for-piano
