Hello again, Stephen_Doonan,

I love this piece (and The Brook on YT). And have said it before, your music style, the way of playing, is extraordinary. Amazing. I don’t know what music you have been open to or influenced you, but you have found your voice/path as a composer and performer. I think to be extraordinary is, as someone said, to create work of exceptional quality that only you can make.
I looked at the score when listening and thought, I can never learn to play this…….. so fast, fingers don’t work so well anymore, but I can listen to it and really enjoy, all your music. It’s great to have you in this forum. Thank you!

This is a recent (improved, I think) performance of a piece I wrote and posted here several years ago.

I used Pianoteq's YC5 Home preset with an IR (impulse response) reverb from the collection recorded in the Promenadikeskus concert hall in Pori, Finland (Pianoteq allows one to use impulse response files rather than it's own built-in reverbs, if desired). Information about the collection, and the IR collection itself, can be found or obtained here: http://legacy.spa.aalto.fi/projects/poririrs/

https://youtu.be/J8wwWWunHUo

--- --- ---

The score is available here: https://musescore.com/stephen_c_doonan/abstract-1
Notation for piano can be a bit challenging. I'm sure the piece could be notated better, but it is an interesting learning experience.

--- --- ---

I recently discovered another performance of portions of this piece at YouTube:

https://youtu.be/hEEctecGsek

--- --- ---
