Well, that's a nice quote, I like it. Pianoteq in itself is a really good product, don't get me wrong on that; it offers way more options than most other piano VSTs; it also was one of the first virtual pianos that I ever tried but the first one that I actually liked, so it holds a special place in my mind. From time to time I still use raw Pianoteq for my enjoyment, and it's always a blast.

Of course it's nicer if you have excellent raw materials (such as Pianoteq). But I like it that Shikopaleta is mixing things in a creative way.

I would not say it's useless. It's a way to see and to hear. In drums, vocals and guitars world, it's very common.

Steinway B, i like his gentle preset.

Thank you! I do have plans to release it in the future, right now it's just a side project of mine; while it is completely functional as of now, it lacks a UI. we'll see what I can come up with.

I used to have only Pianoteq as my VST, a decent amount of my old videos were just Pianoteq but I don't know, I like the best of both worlds

Hello! It's been a while since I last posted here.

This time is the famous Ballade no 1 from Chopin.

Pianos used:
- A sampled Yamaha
- Pianoteq's Steinway B

Both pianos are mixed to sound like one with the overall tone being from the sampled piano and using the Steinway B to brighten it up as well as adding extra resonance and the "thumpiness" that it has. I have been liking a lot this piano mixing technique, works very well with classical music.
