Favorite selections from Organteqenthusiast’s music collection. Today’s selection is:
A short Prelude and Fugue, J.K.Fischer

Short and simple, but beautiful with good registration in Organteq (try full screen).
It was Sunday morning, and this little piece (especially the Prelude) made a strong impression on me, because when playing it, i remembered my son. So I decided to record it.
Well, this piece is a big contrast to my Brandenburg concert and Festmusic recordings. But it feels so good to play ”soft” music too.
To ”fatten” the sound, I use both Recit flute 4’ and Positif flute 4’ together, doubling (as you can see) in the Prelude. I think in this piece, it works to my ears, Organteq sounds as a much bigger organ…although not so many stops. And in Fugue Positif Flute traversiere 8’ and Nasard 2’ 2/3. My experimentation and ”invention” with Organteq continues
(I suggest listening to Prelude several times, I feel there is something special, beauty….)

https://youtu.be/IhtQyarq7eE
