Bluetooth compresses the audio as far as I know and that's the reason why I wouldn't use it, except for streaming music from my phone which is already compressed. I don't know if the specific have changed in newer versions (I doubt it) but you always lose something by using BT to listen to music.

I would not recommend any type of bluetooth device in the signal chain.
Neither for midi transmission (keyboard to computer), nor for real-time audio transmission (computer to headphones).
There's latency occuring, meaning it takes to much time from the point you press a key till the moment the sound reaches your ear.
It feels like you're playing in the past. Not good.

RF headphones offer way less latency.
In my opinion wired devices are the way to go when it comes to real-time transmission.
Also it makes troubleshooting easier (why don't I hear anything?).

Cables are your friend

I am personally using Mpow X3. It is a wireless bluetooth earbuds. Its noise cancellation feature and the battery timings are the key points for me to buy it. It also supports both android and ios devices. Do have a look on this too.

Bluetooth headphones have lag, even the best ones. You will feel completely disconnected from the piano.

Hi,

I would imagine so if your pc/laptop/Mac has Bluetooth but I wouldn't recommend it as it Pianoteq will not sound great through them.
I would advise investing in some decent over ear headphones to get the most out of the sound from Pianoteq.
This is purely my own opinion by the way.

Hi, we bought Pianoteq 6. Could we use airpod to listen to the music from the software? We can use normal earphone, but not airpod. Does it matter? Any suggested bluetooth earphone work with Pianoteq 6?
