thank you for listening. I made this sequence on purpose, as you said, the not often heard and performed pieces with some exceptions. I just listened to a recording on CD and must admit that in comparison with some other "sample based" Grands, this is much more enjoyable.

I also discovered some errors in the score (while listening) and in the velocity settings, especially when going from softer sentences to forte or fortissimo (velocity overdone, I think).

I put all MIDI in one large file (concatenated) for Sonar 9 Prod. but of course I recorded them separately. In my wave editor (Adobe Audition) I've put all audio files together and added some reverb to all pieces (all pieces the same).

Here are the settings:

Decay time 1240 ms
Pre-delay 50 ms
Diffusion 1000 ms
Perception 50 (absorbent, total reflective = 200)
Room size 900 cubic meters
Width/Depth relation 1.4 giving the dimension of 13x9x6 meters (room dimension)
Left/Right -10.5% so it is a bit more to the left
High Pass cutoff 75 hz

Dry signal 70%
Wet 25%
Wet early reflection 25%

It's interesting to hear some of the lesser known pieces, although the "greatest hits" are always a renewed experience.

I find the Erard better suited to the fast virtuosic pieces like the Fantaisie-Impromptu, but Chopin is always virtuosic anyway, with all these polyrythms even in the slower pieces...

I like the fact that the Erard gives a sense of the hammers flying up to hit the strings more than the other presets, and this is nice to hear in the small notes parts.

I would really like if you posted your final fxp in our files section for us to try (unless you have a separate fxp for each piece of course...)

I ask you to listen to some of them if I really got that "Erard" sound. I once gave a concert on a very old and not well maintained Erard Grand, - certificated one of Liszt's instruments-, but is too long ago to have some "acoustic" memory if this slightly detuned Grand Piano.
