Anything above value 64 should be noticeable sustain.

I mean that one doesn't have to kick it ddown all the way. How do I accomplish this in MIDI? I tried to lower the value of CC#64 in Sonar, but then all pedal activity is stopped (at least I don't see the sustain pedal go down a bit at playback).

There must be a way, but which... please give me some hint.
