I don't exactly remember where I read about mixing pianos, I think it was here in the Modartt forums but I could be wrong. To get this tone I tried different combinations of 2 sampled libraries and the Steinway D & B from Pianoteq. After processing with some basic effects, like EQ, compressor, etc. I got this tone out of a Yamaha and the B.

For reference, the Yamaha is doing most of the work and the B is accentuating the high end of the overall tone. I would recommend anyone to try mixing their libraries; you may find something quite nice.

I love the warmth of the sound and the way you let the music breathe.  There were a couple of places where I wanted to hear more of the left hand, things like the little moment at 1:05 where the melody and bass are in contrary motion.  And in some of the louder parts I wouldn't have minded a bit more edge to the sound, something slightly more aggressive.  But overall I really enjoyed listening to this -- and watching it as well :-)
